04 complete plastics on a 01

Hi there, could anyone tell me for sure if the plastics from an 04 rc would fit on my 01? I'm talking the upper cowl, side panels, and seat cowl. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Hondaxxx2000,

Yes, all the RC's plastics will interchange.
The only thing different is the front (lower) skirt.
As the oil cooler position on the 00-01 is up under the steering head .
Later models moved oil cooler lower on left side of bike to get better air flow.

Growing old is mandatory.

You may burn a part of the plastics where the exhaust manifold exits under the rearsets... word of warning.
