I have a 2000 RC, took it out for a ride this weekend and got into some rain for 10 minutes. I noticed the temp on the cluster went down to 130 degrees and jumped around a bit. While riding home it slowley came back to normal. It ran good the whole ride home and the fan was still coming on? Its like somthing got wet and dried out. any ideas? thanks

May have indeed gotten some moisture in the connector.
All's well currently?
If so, go buy some dielectric grease and put a dab into the gauge connector.
It really does ward off moisture related gremlins.
I put the stuff in every electrical connector I can lay my hands on.
