The SP2 throttle bodies will fit with a T-O SP1 airbox.
You'll also need the mount rubbers for the throttle bodies to mount.
Plus the SP2 ECU.
However, the T-O SP1 airbox itself will not fit in an SP2 frame due to the added gussets near the steering head.
The T-O SP2 airbox will fit both models.
If you want more top end speed, as I understand you, drop your rear sprocket back to the standard 40T.More engine power will get you there quicker, but the sprocket sizes dictates your top speed.
I adapted SP2 injectors to fit into my SP1 without the SP2 ECU but using a power commander. It need a remap, but in the end there was no real power difference, it did seam to have smoother throttle responce, but I ended up switching back to SP1 injectors, just to keep it a SP1
There will be a trade off in top speed with 15/44 gearing, but as you say it will give very good accleration..My SP1 runs 15/40 gearing and I can redline it in top gear at a local track (just)
