2000, sp1 motor. Previous owner forgot to torque cam journals and the cam busted and destroyed the rear head. New OEM gasket, used head in good condition, torqued properly, timing set. Removed the valve cover on the other (Front) head just to check journal torques, replaced cover.
Bike started up fine, ran fine, shut it off and white smoke came out of BOTH intakes. I thought maybe it was just condensation and that it would burn off. I mean... I didn't do much at all to the front head for it to be smoking too. Put everything back together, let it heat up, rode for a few minutes, no power problems, yet still smoking... mostly out around the head, not out the back of the exhaust.
At this point I'm thinking I just got some oil and coolant on the engine and it's burning off, no big deal... go for a ride and eventually it stalls at a red light... Something isn't right. Any ideas?
