Has this been tried

Been looking at this I like the new cb1000r but wife is saying one more and im gone lol. So that means only two more bikes. But have some older ones on bucket list . anyway was thinking of cutting stock pipes and fabricating this up on pipe I know that would mean time on the dyno but a friend has one in shop. What do you guys think?
My son wants me to leave the cans if anybody has a cheap stock pipes pm me i would like the bike to have all stock part in my shop just in case. As always thanks for your help or input

I have something similar on my 1000rr, it sounds terrible and runs miserably at low/ mid rpm. yes, dyno time can help sort some of that out, but its just not real great.

Anything is possible, but on an RC it would be hard. On the I4's the exhaust exits the front of the bike opposed to 1 front and 1 rear on a Vtwin. If you notice it has a small baffle/cat built into the slip on.....with the exhaust exiting rear cylinder it would be hard to make this work and without it, I imagine it would be insanely loud (not in a good way, but in a really annoying way) on a vtwin and run like garbage.

I had a Mivv gp can on my RSV and it was obnoxiously loud. I can't even imagine how loud this thing would be.

Here is one on an Aprilia shiver....sounds terrible.

I have a friend with this on his Aprilia RSV4... Loud as hell and when he gets on it you can hear him from the GD moon pretty much. Sounds angry but has a weird pitch that riding near or side by side makes my ear tickle... Annoying lol

Another version, sounds more like my friends setup.
