Help me identify where this piece goes on a 2001

I feel kind stupid for asking this, but I can't figure out where this part goes. Had the bodywork and wheels off, but can't remember where this piece goes. I believe it has to do with the bodywork somewhere. I've checked the parts fiche multiple times and can't seem to figure it out. Pics are of both sides.

Is that the washer/hold down clamp that goes on the top of the air box? the one that hold the seal to get to the front screw of the front stack?

I'll post up a link to the fiche I'm thinking it is after dinner.

Looks like the stock washers for the turnsignals...I had some like that on my 929.

I can't compare as my RC did not come with the stock signals, anyone else?

I'll second the guess that it's for the front turn signal stalks. Not 100%, but pretty sure.

I think it goes to the turn signal.

I'm always right.
