PCV with auto tune question

I have the PCV w/auto tune installed. I would like to have auto tune not kick in till it reaches temp. What color is the wire off the ECT that give voltage?

Does the RC51 send a 0-5v to the ECU for temp reading? If so what color is that wire so I can tap into it and send that Ty the PCV

Do not use the Autotune in real time all the time.

Use a 2 position switch, wait til the engine is at operating temp and then use the switch to allow the AutoTune to start correcting and populating the trim tables. Before you allow the engine to cool back down, turn the switch off and then use a computer to review & permanently write the trim tables to the mapping in the PCV. After 3 or 4 sessions of tuning in this manner the trim tables will no longer be populated as the PCV mapping becomes more optimized. Once that is done you disconnect the AutoTune and simply rely on the map you created to handle the fueling.

LDH, have you noticed if the autotune function does as well of a job as a dyno tune would after you go through the process?

I'm just guessing here, but I think it may actually do a better job since you would be tuning based on your normal riding and seasonal climate, rather than possibly getting a dyno tune done on the most humid or hottest (or coldest) day at the shop or track. Also, would you then re-tune your bike for summer temps if you had installed the system in the cold? Oh, and if you are inserting a sensor into the exhaust, would there be any adverse readings because of the different airflow in the pipes? (going past a sensor)

I don't have a Power Commander yet for my bike. I was going to get the PCV but wasn't sure about buying the autotune portion.

The map I made with the AutoTune was for all practical intents identical to the map I made on the dyno.

Just added a switch and changed auto tune to turn on by the switch. So I need to run the bike at temp flip auto tune on the b4 I shut it down I need turn auto tune off. Then shit the bike off hook up the laptop and confirm the table changes? This will write the table to memory? Looking forward to using it. I used my custom pcIII map as a base but table has all zeros right now. I'll see what they change to after a ride tonight.

Are you using auto tune with 2 02 sensors(at-300)? Or just 1?

I got the at-300. Sensors are about 6+" from the heads. The bike seems to be surging a little bit now after 2 runs. It also wouldn't populate my pcIII map so I used the sp1 map that has my same set up (no sp2 map with satos from dynojet). When I add AT tables to my map it creates 4 tables (cyl#1-4). The maps that I downloaded from dyno jet have table cyl1&2 and cyl 3&4 and these will populate with changes.

I do my run the. Get map then get table then I save map as different name then Send the table. Is this the correct steps?
