Cool The Devil's SP2 Build

After selling off a few of my other bikes i decided to get a sp2 and finally have a rc51 the way i wanted, knew i wasnt going to ride it much but i really wanted to have something pretty to look at when i open the garage haha.

2010 located one on craigslist from guy local to me. The Sato Exhaust/hangers had me really interested, went to look at it put a deposit on it and had it ready for pick up 2 days later.

03 sp2, 8500 miles,Ti Babyface Lows/ hangers, sargent seat, pc3, TT style windscreen, flapper mod. complete suspension rework by GMD computrack/race tech

otherwise very stock and untouched.
came w/ Oem pipes, service manual, pitbull stand, cover, 2 keys, service records, OEM seat, passenger pegs OEM windscreen, a few other small odds and ends ive forgotten

1st things 1st. fluids, spark plugs, lube, stare at it for hours, new OEM battery

got rid of the TT windscreen to jondog9, wasnt really my thing (1st thing to ever be sold off the bike, and a hoarder like me had a hard time parting with it)

Got some Carrozzeria Forged Al. V-Track wheels on Zilla, just had to have them and im a sucker for gold.

decided the undertail had to go but i didnt want to cut it, so a member stepped up with a cut sp2 tray and on went the Bestem (still havent had it wired in)

decided i liked the lows but i wanted something in a highmount. STILL regret selling these rare badboys (enjoy 39NAS-T), and got his OEM euro SP1 tail in trade. i really like the red in the tail just to set myself apart from the other 03's
(of course still have the perfect shape 03 black tail stashed)

Bestem USA undertail mock up

picked up some Sato Banzai carbons which i REALLY wanted and mounted them up, and they were great!!!

THEN, the deal on the LBP GP mufflers came up and i just HAD to have those too. ordered up some 54mm to 60mm shims from simon and they fit up perfect. THESE SOUND UNBELIEVABLE!!! last time i checked it was 115db+
(hoarded away the Sato Carbons, was on the lookout for some mids to make them complete as well)

-Tech G rearsets
-Stompgrips
-Honda racing cover OEM (must have for the true addict)
-

Got a GREAT deal on the Galfer setup, and i think the wave rotors look really trick.

got some custom Coremoto lines (these guys are awesome to deal with and i think make the best lines in the biz, so many options)

GOTTA HAVE THE GEAR!!!!!

found a STEAL on a Ohlins HO204, so off went the race tech and on with the swedish bling

PC3 was sold and i upgraded to PC5, (theres basically a space meant just for it on a sp2 battery tray)

decided to go underslung on the rear brake and got a deal on a used unit from a member, decided on a 84mm Brembo P2 OEM caliper from a ducati 848,

-Decided on some Carbon Fiber SP2 swingarm covers to cover the bootmarks on the swinger and the the rub mark from the old exhaust rubbing the swinger
-got some custom Coremoto lines (these guys are awesome to deal with and i think make the best lines in the biz, so many options)

October 2013 decided i was going to take the plunge on Carbon Airbox, Carbon Snorkel etc. I wasnt pleased with what i was finding used so i was very interested in Duckhunters Mk.2 versions. The lack of a good paper filter element in the previous models made me concerned for street riding and pollen season. Contacted him and ordered one of the whole line up. pleasure to deal with, excellent customer service on his end to say the least.
TWILL CARBON
-DHC/T1 Mk.2 Airbox
-DHC/T1 MK.2 Snorkel
-DHC/T1 frame covers
-DHC-Battery relocate kit
-DHC Mk.1 Tankpad (small)

Located a billet Tyga triple (still drooling) and some gilles chain adjustors, Genuine DanKyle/Sato adjustable clip ons (very nice quality)

Just waiting on a few more parts
