Crashed bike. Need help.

I recently crashed my '03 RVT into the back of a van going about thirty MPH. The fairings are broken and scratched, headlights busted, and intake plastics shattered, right side clip on bent and front cowling stabilizer bar as well. Any help to figure out how much all parts will cost would be great. I'll add pics later so I can hopefully be further assists. Oh and also the dash cluster is kaput.

Ouch, glad you are OK (?) after that wreck. Posting up pics of the damage might help out btw.

You can check out the classified section here on the message board for parts, visit sites like rc51parts.com , utilize the factory service manual and scour dealer/OEM parts diagrams (the "microfiche" ones) on sites like Honda East Toledo or Ron Ayers, etc, to get a feel for what these parts cost new Vs buying used to repair/replace the damage.

G'luck putting 'er back together.

Glad your able to type, today.

Maybe post up some pictures and slowy take the bik apart to see what is damaged, other than cosmetics.

There are a few threads on here where folks are selling OEM parts you could use.

Good luck to you.

I hope you're doing well.

Sounds like the bike took a pretty good hit. I would check out and make sure that the forks and front wheel are not bent.

Ben at rc51parts.com is a great guy to work with, I highly recommend him.

Parstzilla.com is another online retailer that has good prices and I've had good luck with.

I have an OEM snorkel that's sitting on a shelf, I haven't thought about selling it but if you can't find one let me know.

Updated**

Thanks for the concern all, my girlfriend and I are definitely okay even with some scrapes and bruises.
As far as the bike is concerned, all of the parts that have been removed are broken, to include the dash cluster and right side fairing. Even though the left side could really be used again but I will use this opportunity to convert this thing into a Repsol?

I can email a better pic on request as this one isn't so helpful. But the gist is there.

Glad to hear you and your lady are ok...this is a good news story.

You are fortunate to have been riding an 03 and traveling at its max speed...any other RC at a great speed would have ended differently

On a more serious note, there are a few bikes being parted out at the moment so be sure to search the classifieds...some good guys here with extra parts will get you back on the road in no time.

Just be thankful you're well enough to put the bike back together.

Speedy recovery to you, your girlfriend, and the bike.
