Need some direction

After kicking around the idea of buying an RC for ya know, ten years I finally bought one about a month ago. I knew I would not be able to keep it long as I simply have not been able to master my domain as it were and ride with any sense of my mortality. I love this bike. I have had everything under the sun, GSXR, R1, BMW sport touring, MX, scooters, quads blah blah and this is the coolest bike ever. That said, I cannot keep the front wheel on the ground nor keep from hammering the throttle through every apex I come across. Nor can I stay off of the thing.

The cool part is I looked and waited patiently and the bike I have is perfect. It literally does not have a scratch on it. I bought it from the original owner and it has always been dealer serviced and I have all the records. Other than a set of 2 bros slip ons it is untouched, and I have the OEM cans as well. It only has 9500 miles on it and I am reluctant to break the 10K mark. I am not desperate but I have concluded that I have had my fun and I am testing the God's everytime I ride it. Other than this forum, where is the best place to unload this bike. I know I paid to much for it, but I would like to recoup as much as possible.

I will post some pics this afternoon when I am back home. Thanks for you input.

Alan

Too much means you don't want to take a loss and you believe no one will pay what you did? Might be true but there are other collectors. Unfortunately, someone wanting to pay what it takes to get a collector will probably be seeking out a lower miles bike.
With summer upon us, Ebay and your local newspaper tends to bring high prices if you are in the right location. Cycle Trader also brings higher numbers. As you know, Craigslist is the shopping mecca for cheap deals and rip offs so you don't generally get the high end buyers. Although some high end buyers do sift through CL, you will have to weed out all the flakes and low ballers.
You might find a buyer in here but most of us either only buy the greatest of deals because we are deep in the know or we buy the true rare collector ones. Again, if I were to seek one out for collecting and not riding I would seek out a 3000 mile or less bike.
So, it really depends on what you paid and how patient you are. A super clean 10k bike is desireable. Good luck.

So, if your trying to sell it, post your asking price in the For Sale section?
