My 04 just stalled?

Ran my 04 pretty hard for about 1 1/2 hours yesterday and ran awesome. Got back into town at a stop light and sat there for a minute and boom stalled? Never did this before. Ran up the road and came to a stop and checked it out and boom stalled? Started right up and took it home and noticed it running not as good. A little down on power and sounded a little different. Pulled in the garage and let it run a little bit and no stall. Hmmm? Going to check it out in the morning and see what's up. Anyone else have had similar problems?

Fuel Pressure Regulator. Do a search on this forum, there's lots of talk about how to fix it. It's easy and completely do-able. about a 30 minute job...

dont worry about the pressure regulator. you would be a huge smoke machine if you had that problem. the big failure on the FPR is that the diaphram gives out in it and you start dumping fuel into the vacuum line directly into the intake. I had that problem with my bike when i bought it and got about 10 miles to the tank.

Um, 'fraid not. I've had three fail on my bikes.
Most often they give you a sign of crappy low rpm throttle and dying at idle, like when you roll up to a stop light. And sometimes a little starvatin at high rpm. Sometimes hard to restart when warm... There's other ways too, that's just what I've experineced. I guess a smoke machine is possible if you completely blow the diaphram out, but that's probably a rare extreme thing.

Check for loose connections / grounds while you are doing your inspections...a little dielectric grease goes a long way in your connections.
