tip over switch

My tip over switch is acting like it is going bad. Before I order a replacement can I bypass it to see if that's the problem? If so, how?

What is the bike doing that makes you think the BAS is going bad?
Usually they work or they don’t.

plug was coming loose. tool tail off and saw it. replugged it and it is good now.
