Ignition timing ?s

Is the PC3 able to adjust timing or is an ignition module required? I am looking at some Dan kyle maps on my power commander program and I see nothing in the ignition table.

Re: Ignition timing ?s

That sucks considering I can't find an ignition module for it.

I think you can get the usb hub for the pc3 and a ignition module.... but why are you wanting to mess with the timing anyway?

i have the pc3 usb, do i still need the hub. i had an ignition module on my cbr600rr and it was phenominal. is adjusting the timing on an rc51 not advisable?

Re: Ignition timing ?s

From my research, yes, you need the hub... and unless you've done some major work to the engine or are running a power adder (turbo, nitrous) there is really no need to mess with the factory ignition map... don't get me wrong here, you might see some kind of gain but I bet they would be minimal and would cause problems some where... the RC51 will never be a CBR and a CBR will NEVER be an RC51.... apples and oranges man...
