All you need is this

Althouth your clearances are within specs, I would turn the 18 on the rear and the 13 on the front to an even 16.......maybe 15s too....hell I would stay inside my garage with no food and water until all exhaust are 31 and all intake 16......but that's just me

I just finished mine up on Thursday and it made a hell of a difference. Went on a short ride Friday then a all day ride Saturday.
Gas mileage is way better, engine braking is not as harsh, power delivery is much smoother, and it sounds better. My exhaust was also WAY off so there was really nowhere to go but up on performance.
Also, Jondog, do you remember how rich my bike smelled when we rode? That is gone.
There is a thread with members' valve clearance numbers somewhere around here. I plan to post up my numbers once I get back home.

Sup shonuff. Less engine braking ? Well to be honest the reason why these bikes have good engine braking is because it's a v twin. And compression as well too. Just think 2 huge cilinders working together ! Glad your bike is running good though! I found a loose throttle body boot on the front cilinder so I'm thinking that will help the drivability for my bike lol . Im going to buy the hot cams shim set this week so I can finish my bike !
