F1 Light

Hi guys,

What is the F1 light saying when it is on?

From time to time on a random basis ( not all the time) my F1 light comes on and stays on. It doesn't blink, it just decides to stay on. Just a curiosity because performance remains unaltered.

I am suggesting it might just be a loose wire?

Thank you

Download the Service manual from here

http://www.rc51.info/index.php?page=service

and follow instruction to perform an ECU self-diagnose procedure.

The FI light only shows the blink codes when the service connector is jumpered and the ignition switched on.
Be aware that the ECU stores all detected faults, so the best way to know current faults is to clear out the current ones, and allow new faults to be stored.
Then determine what faults are reported.
