front race rads

Hi guys just bought an imported Sp2 2002 track only bike and she has some really awesome looking front race rads and oil cooler fitted and just wondered if anyone uses them on the track or road and if there is any issues with overheating ?
I might want to convert her for road use later so might have to sell them on there are no fans fitted, so just wondering really
Cheers phill UK

you can fit fans to the back of those i believe, but you should just give them to me

i hear they work so good you have to tape them up partially to even get it to operating temp

Hi RC ,
yes that's an idea, but im not using her for racing so a bling item that I would rather not have and just have the standard items,
I understand they are a desirable item but just not for me ,
But thanks for the reply

Hi All,
have just found out that they are Colin Edwards WSB replica rads, so you wont find them anywhere.
a few more pics

Does anyone know what a full set like this might be worth ?

also what is the diffence between the red and yellow rear shock spring on a 2002/ 2004 model ?
Cheers Phill

Not sure I would want my brake master sat in between hot parts like that. I would be more than happy to buy those rads of you, and unlike others I can collect.

Nice to see another UK member.

Hi Brit,
I don't disagree with you about the master cylinder.... but I shall find out any issues on her first track day next Monday at Donny so fingers all crossed, if she is not ready then will have to take the road going sp2 2004 in black the best colour................. NOT.
if you are up near Gloucestershire on a long ride away from home pop in for a brew.
Cheers Phill

Ditto, if you ever find your way down darkest Cornwall. Always good to meet up with fellow RC owners, but they are few and far between down here.

Good luck at Donny.
