Carillo rod weight

Anyone have the carillo rod weight available? I have all the weights I need to have my crank balanced except for the rod weight..I don't have the patience of subsailor to wait 4 more weeks to receive my rods and then wait another 3-4 for falicon to balance the rotating assembly...if I can find out the rod weight, I can save myself 3-4 weeks of time...time=money!

Weeks? I wish.
Some things I ordered for my bike took months to receive.

These are figures I've found, but I have not verified them.
Carrillo RC51 H-beam rods, 472 grams.
OEM RC51 rods, 560 grams.

Not to be a killjoy, but I'd wait to get the actual weights as this can vary. (small amounts but we are talking a critical point of the engine.)

Patience Grasshoppa....it will be worth the weight.

And the madman with the cheesy pun
With something as critical as the rotating assembly, I would not have it balanced on assuming that you have the right weight. A small and inaccuracy will have a huge affect at 10k rpm.

Falicon seemed to not think so as they said I didn't need to ship the parts, just get the weights..I have seen on speeedzilla one dude says 456-7 and another 474, so....as much as I hate to piss away a month of time, looks like there is no option.....

derrelCarillo hasn't been to easy to catch up with either.....

as for varying weights, I have seen posts statng 4-5 gms difference in stock rods alone

Yes.
I believe you need to fill a request form to ask them on the RC51.
After all it's a 14 year old model. No wonder why they don't include it in their catalogs
