NSC plating

I have not found any pro's and con's of Nickel-Silicon Carbide (NSC) plating for cylinders.
Roger Ditchfield, who is doing my;

heads w/ billet cams
balance, lighten, pollish JE pistons, with crank and rods
lower engine case mods for down pressure

believes it to be "NOT worth the money in my opinion"

Hord likes it for his RC builds.

Anyone out there that does engine builds or knows (current) engine builders for race bikes have any opinions on this plating process.

If your cylinder is worn oval shaped, or damaged, or has worn past the 2nd overbore limit, then your choices are to either replace the engine or have the cylinders bored straight, re-plated, and diamond honed to OEM dimensions.

Millennium Technologies is the main company that does this in the U.S.
