Need HELP!! Possable engine rebuild

So I really need some advice on how and what im going to need for this, I went down and the motor suffered some major damage, as far as i can tell i will need a tranny case, oil pan and a lower case, question is can i even replace the lower and keep most of the engine intact? or even rebuild the lower half still mounted to the frame? noob questions I know but really need the help and suggestions.. Thanks guys.

Buy a new motor if you are seriously considering this....its much more affordable.

+1 for used motor...too many variables, a complete motor makes for an easy swap.

Good luck, if it was me I'd sell and start off fresh. But that's me.

Yea, you would probably spend more on new OEM parts then a good used motor, and then I don't know if I would trust the rebuild.

The main engine cases are destroyed. Those cases from Honda alone are over $1200.
Buy a good used engine and swap out for around $750 give or take.
You can then use the damaged engine for spare parts.

Ben at rc51parts.com had cases only for sale on his site. Cheaper than a whole used motor. Worth a look.
