Ok been a while guys and gals. I have been doing some searching and cant find the correct answers.
I have an 03 rc51. And am going to do rings (already torn down) are the cylinders plated from factory.
I have seen mixed thoughts on giving them a hone vs bore.
Has anyone had any luck with just givibg it a hone job as I really dont want to send it out if i dont have to.
I havent ridden it in about 4 years.. I miss it lol.. It was smoking like a siv before putting it away. The cylinder walls dont look horible but still need to do a bore measurement. already planning on doing valve seals.
