clutch fluid

so i need to change my clutch fluid but i have never done it. i have done the brakes myself so im sure its just as easy. the question i have is that the res cap says dot4 brake fluid? is that right? you use brake fluid for clutch as well as brakes?

I use DOT4 synthetic.
How do I know? Cause I used the wrong shizit the first time and destroyed my o-rings and resevior cap diaphram. No biggie on replacing them, propably should anyway if you got more than 20K on the bike.

How many miles on the bike, and how many of those miles have you put on? Maybe time to replace the important cup/seals and o-rings on your clutch master and slave? It's not expensive at all.

Just changed front pads and fluid with galfer dot4 so I still have some left that I plan on using

plus 1. DOT 4 Motul 600. Only way to go and it gets used in all my bikes.
