What a stunt!

I saw this on the news this morning. Quite amusing.
A rider in a race lowsides in a corner on a wet track, can't get his bike restarted after a bit of a struggle, so he decides to fake passing out...

That shit has been happening for years. Mat Mladin more than once faked an injury after a crash to get a red flag thrown then he hops up and sprints back to the paddock to get his B Bike prepared for the race.

Aaron Yates actually got up out of the gravel trap at VIR and then layed down in the middle of the track once to force Race Control to throw the red flag due to another bike being in the impact zone.

That's exactly what he's trying to do. Whatever circuit this guy was racing in; they banned him for a year when they found out he was faking.

Blake Young pulled off a stunt like that in one of this year's first AMA Superbike races . . . he faked that he was so hurt that he couldn't get off the track . . . got the red flag . . . then miraculously he jumped back on the bike to come from last place on the restart to ultimately catch up to Josh Hayes for a one two finish.

. . . great race by the way!
