Dunlop Q4s

I have a track day coming up...anyone try out Q4s? Trying to decided between Super Corsas or Q4s.

Thanks!
Jim

They are fine on the track. As long as you stick with the big names Dunlop, Michelin, Pirelli & Bridgestone there really are no "bad" sport tires out there.

Thanks for the info!

When switching from a 50 series to a 55, does the suspension need to be adjusted?

The damping settings will not be affected at least not in any quantifiable way, but you could require a tiny bit of ride height adjustment if you had already optimized your set-up with the 190/50 tire. If you had not gone to that effort you will likely find the 190/55 is instantly a better tire for overall handling when compared to the 190/50.

Definitely , when I put my Ohlins and DK link on , the back went up 7/8''. I was initially concerned I might end up with head shake , but it reacts to bumps under acceleration the same , one shimmy and that's it. I was already running 190/55's and obviously the steering got quicker yet.
