mods sticky

Is it possible to set up stickies for common mods like oil/air filter, spark plug, pc3 install, changing sprockets/chain, undertail, hid/projector install, brake lines/pads, bleeding brakes, general maintenance type stuff? And to have part numbers

I guess I would like to see a mods section not just for discussion, but with walkthroughs I could look at while doing whatever I wanted to do.

Im a member on TacomaWorld and I find it very useful how they have it set up. Lots of walkthroughs with lots of pictures. And not just for the harder stuff but for little mods people might find useful.

Owning an RC51 means you have to man up. No hand holding here!

All kidding aside it's not a horrible idea and I've seen what you are talking about. There is already a list of such things compiled @ rc51.org. The maintenance stuff eh, you can download the free service manual with step by step instructions and the board is always here to answer questions! Probably best to ask them before you year into the bike and don't forget to search the forums as many things have been covered (with pics). If we wanted to compile a list of all the threads that covered this stuff I'm sure it could be used as quite the valuable reference.

not a bad idea, should get permission from LDH and see if some of the stuff from rogue can be transferred over here and stickied. or have someone create a few walkthroughs with pics etc.

A "How-To" thread? I've seen that on other forums. It's up to other members to take the time to make them up or find them, but they can be very helpful. I'll add that to the list, and hopefully we'll have a dedicated suspension section as well in the near future.

Done...the new Suspension & How-to sections are up and running. We'll give it a trial run to see how it goes.

Keep the suggestions coming, we appreciate it!

Very nice! I look forward to hopefully writing a few HT's if I can only remember to take pics
