Vintage toys?

I had some trucks down doing some cleaning and I thought I would share...

I have been collecting for about 6yrs now and have about 200 toys.

My Father has been collecting for 30+ yrs and has well over 1000 toys.

The orange lowboy truck is made by De Salle toys and they make limited edition custom trucks that are highly sought after...
This one is #212 of 300 and is mint in every way...
I also have #2 of 300 of the same truck. These can run you upwards of a grand in price

The blue steam shovel is a 40's Structo brand and is one of my favs.

The green lowboy with matching dragline is made by Tonka.

I have also included some pics of my man cave and there is no real order to my madness besides the three matching box trucks on the bottom. My Father and his two brothers got those new for xmas a long time ago..

Thanks GTS...

Some of the pics I took of the cave are when I did more shelves and the camera was horrible or more like operator error....

My dream man cave is still a twinkle in my eye, but should begin to take shape in the next few years. Will be a spaceous 6 car sized garage with 1-2 hydraulic lifts, cupboards along the sides for tools and workbenches, an area with removable enclosure for spray painting, milling machine & lathe, space along one side for bikes - with sliding door access to outside & a couple of simple rooms upstairs at the back. Wood fired rocket stove for heating, air conditioning upstairs, a decent sound system for working with...

....ah, Sh*t - I just wet myself whilst I was dreaming!

Euro RC51 SP2: HRC WSB Ti Hi-Level, T1 Airbox & Snorkel, PCIII, Dymag CA5 Carbon Wheels, Ti64 Spindles (F, R & Swing Arm), Mori Link, Maxton GP7 Shock & Ohlins 832 Forks, Brembo GP Calipers & SBK narrow track (F), Braketech Disc (R), Brembo billet Underslung x 2 Brembo RCS, Tyga Triple, 7075 Stem, Probolt Titanium all over, Babyface rearsets, MR Complete Carbon Lineup, Custom Undertail & CBR 1000 LED, Watsen LED Indicators, Harris Brace, Giles clip-ons, Corbin seat, etc. 2013 BOTY.

Before the divorce...my cave was almost like that.

3 car garage but no cars parked there, 3 mc lifts, Snap On boxes, plenty of tools, refrigerator, sound system, tv and a PS2. Oh and 12 bikes...but lawyers are very expensive and so is court and losing 60% of everything.

That would be something to have a Mc lift or two in my cave.... But for now I have to share my cave with my kiddos and their friends. The big draw for them is my antique 10ft pool table that was in my family's saloon way back when.
It really is something to see their faces light up when they enter the main room with all the shelves. Doesn't matter if its their first or 100th time over.
They all do a very good job respecting the (DO NOT TOUCH) rule for the trucks.

I do store some of my vintage bikes down there too but not really on display like they should be.. This kinda has me thinking....HHHmmmmmm

Ah yes....when the toys were made in Japan and real steel! Looks like some may actually made in the US too, nice.

No man cave is complete without a kegerator.
