That's sweet. The pit pass I'm sure allowed for some great views.

Saw my first NASCAR Nationwide race on Saturday and now I'm hooked. Already looking to see if I can afford to go to Richmond for the night race next month.

Imagine how you would feel after a whole weekend of MotoGP at Indy

Compared to what? Laguna? The sandy dirt mound. COTA?? Yes, being brand new has its advantages....hmm, not sure what you mean but other than needing some lights and definitely larger video screens, the Old Lady called Indy holds her own against the best.

I've been to Laguna, Daytona, MIS, Las Vegas and was not impressed...

Please tell me again what tracks you have visited again??

Am I biased, you bet. But I would give a track its due if it deserved it, most certainly. Indy has to compete with COTA in the US, others need not apply...not even close.

Damn MB not attacking Indy I was just kinda shocked at the condition. I have not been to a lot of tracks but Barber was top notch all around. Heartland Park is a shithole. Indy was a great time and the people were awesome! Not shitting on the city. When you only see it on tv it just painted a different picture

I know what you are saying...I hope you look that good when you are 100 years old In the past decade, the place has changed a lot...and for the better! Part of the history behind the track is to not change some things. (The old rotating score boards.) It needs some paint and additional modern amenities for sure. Barber is new too and very nice I agree.

TV has a way of changing one's perspective....that why you have to go to the venues (I about shat myself going around the track and saw up close the astro turf used to fill in certain sections of the track, tricky bastids.)

I want to get rid of the fookin' golf course and redesign the GP track, more hills and some increased corner angles. But, eh...what do I know.

Saturday night before the gp I got struck down by the hammer of thor with a kidney stone that had me pissing blood and vomiting uncontrollably like a little bitch in fetal position in the bathroom of my hotel. In the ER til 830 am and went straight to the track for morning warm up!
