Here are a few recent cooks of General Tao Chicken. It's easy, fast and tasty.

Cheers

Kalbi beef, aka Korean BBQ beef short ribs. It has the trifecta of sweet, savory and salty flavors.

Sides were toasted garlic bread with fresh cilantro and some boiled then pan-fried brussel sprouts prepared with olive oil, chicken broth, fresh ground salt/pepper and garlic.

Have a great weekend

These are Tianjin style Asian pork dumplings I picked up at a local authentic restaurant and cooked at home from frozen, served with sambal oelek sauce.

Fresh grilled salmon and cream cheese sandwich.

Big pictures.

Instant pot French onion soup. This is a three cheese deluxe version with fresh hand grated mozzarella, gruyere and grana padano.

This bowl is an example of a preparation light on the cheese.

Here are the onions prepped. It's an impressive amount for lots of servings.

Cheers and have a great weekend.

Here's a loaded Asian stir fry made stovetop in the wok. I used a light amount of Hoisin sauce in this cook.

9.4 lb smoked picnic ham with scratch-made spicy apricot glaze; an Easter holiday meal. It was cooked on the Weber Summit grill.

Served with scratch-made scalloped potatoes and a fresh baked wild blueberry pie for dessert (plus optional heavy whipping cream).

Cheers

Rotisserie chicken from the Weber Summit grill. It was marinated it in a national BBQ competition award winning sauce for ~3 days and brushed on for during the cook. I collected the drippings and made gravy as well. And I also prepared some garlic and cream cheese skin-on mashed garden potatoes.

The sugars in this BBQ sauce caramelize during the rotisserie cook giving the chicken the black look you see in spots. Those areas are sugar sweet . Here are some big pictures of the meal and cook.

Enjoy the weekend.
