Undertail lock removal...

Yo, I am installing a Bestem undertail on my 2005 RC. I am having just one problem so far and that is the removal of the undertail lock from its plastic housing. I do not want to force anything and end up having to replace lock, keys, etc.

Has anyone dealt with this?

Cheers

Yes. There is a U shaped spring clip holding the lock in place. Remove that with a screw driver. You will have to be a bit aggressive with it but once it is out you can more readily remove the cable from the assy.
