SP2 airbox on SP1?

Just a quick one lads! Is an SP2 airbox backwards compatible? I Know the trumpets are bigger, but they look very similar!

No. The airbox sits on top of the mouth of the throttle body and the intake stacks act as clamps securing it in place.
And of course the intake diameters are much different in size between the variants.
The actual intake runners on the cylinder heads are the same.
So the throttle body isolators (rubber boots) perform the necking down of the throttle body intake diameters.
That's why you can swap cylinder heads between the two.
