Has anyone ever done this with an Ohlins rear shock?

Hello guys. I just wanted to pick your brains and ask if anyone knows of an Ohlins shock from other bikes that would fit the SP1. I have been informed that a rear Ohlins Shock that is usually fitted to a Kawasaki ZX10r should fit the SP1. It may need one of the ends changed to fit the linkages but its essentially the right size apparently. Has anyone had any experience of this. I have found this one on ebay that would be the perfect part if what I have been told is true.

Thanks in advance...

The HO-204 for the RC51 has an eye to eye length of 326mm and a stroke of 63mm.
The KA-345 shock for '04-'05 ZX10R had an eye length of 338mm and a stroke of 74mm.

The Kawi shock is 12mm longer and has a 11mm longer stroke.
That's a big difference as the link ratio will multiply that distance at the rear axle.

Thanks Subsailor, that is the kind of info I needed. My plan was to get a shock and then take it to an ohlins specialist service agent who will strip it down, service it and adjust parts as necessary so that the stroke and fittings match the bikes setup. I will have a big think and see what happens. Will make some phone calls and gather more info. Thanks again.
