SP1 vs. SP2 tank

Hi, I was looking to buy Stomp grip for my bike. Are the Sp2 tanks different from the SP1 ?

All the years of tanks have the same mounting points. you'll be fine with any year. Just look out for the notorious rust/leak some of the sp1 tanks suffered.
And this is more theory and observation, but the '03 tank wing grafics may not line up just right with '01, '02, & '04 side fairing wings. If you're trying to match up as close as possible...

The graphics on '00-'02 are the same.
So an '02 fuel tank will match right up.

That's right, I forgot to include 2000 in that list. I said that kinda backwards. I think 03 is the only year that's unique to itself, but only as far as graphics.

yes, 03 is the only different sized graphics on the tank. 04 Nick hayden tanks match up perfectly to 00-02.
