If not Helibars....

What are the working options for ride height clip-ons?

I hav contacted Helibars and the HB9951 clip-ons are not being produced anymore.

Are there other companies out there that make these? Anyone have any luck installing these?

Woodcraft makes clip-ons with various optional height offsets.
This give a wider range of bar height possibilities.

Dan Kyle has a set that has an eccentric milled in the end of the bar that changes the angle as the bar is rotated.

Spiegler make a huge upright set. Requires fairing stay and fairing modification.
I found a used heli bar set on this site's wanted to buy section for $100.
Variobars are another option. Ride UK just had a article about a staff member putting variobars on an older cbr 600. But the brake lines need to be lengthened (custom order braided steel) to allow full adjustment to be used.

i have helibars and they are awesome. makes all the difference. really takes the strain off your lower back without limiting the steering or ruining the sport ride position.

There is a company out there called Convertibars....
http://www.convertibars.com/index.cfm

You can set and adjust them to where you want them, they are adjustable, and not fixed like most companies. I haven't done it yet, but am thinking about getting these myself.

Check out the bars from Apex, two types, eccentric pin and risers with eccentric pin. I was looking into these but have not purchased yet.
