another question

Have a 2000 sp-1 with sp-2 wheels. I just noticed after about 6 months of riding that it is not correct and ruined a set of abm rotors. (Front) I was told by Dan at Kyle Racing that if using the sp-2 wheels regardless of yr bike you need the sp-2 wheel spacers.
Has anyone done this conversion and can confirm this. I used my sp-1 spacers and apparently that ruined my rotors.
The actual issue is that my right side rotor (as sitting on the bike) is not centered in the caliper slot and constantly creating a drag and pressure on my rotor which created a convex warp on rotor
Any help or input appreciated

Ps. I have stock rotors until issue solved. not riding bike.
Anyone got a set of sp-2 spacers to check with and poss. For sale if that fixes said issue.

I have no issues out back strangely enough. It is just the front. I called a honda shop and sp1 & sp2 front spacer has diffrent part numbers according to them. And kyle racing definitely said there is different spacers for sp1/sp2 ft wheels. They said I should be using sp2 spacers since I am using sp2 wheels on sp1. Looking to fi d iut from someone that did the sp1 - to sp2 wheels swap.

sbkdrew makes spacers, and he knows what you would need.

Yes, I can confirm the sp1 and sp2 wheels have different spacers.
I swapped from sp1 to sp2 wheels and had to use the sp2 spacers up front and out back.
The rear axle is different as well in length.

SBKdrew's will work for you, I had bought and used them with my stock forks and am using one of them with my Ohlins forks.

Yeah, I follow yours and sbk drews threads alot. I want to buy your snorkle kit and battery relocate. But its a money issue right now. Just trying to get all my small things taken care of first. Plus my battery is still good.
