Help please: OEM or Barnett Friction Discs?

I plan on ordering new friction plates this week for my slipping clutch on my 2006. I noticed that the price of the barnett set is just about the same as the OEM discs. I'm just wondering if there would be a reason to go with one over the other? And yes, i realize that there are 6 regular discs and one that fits the judder spring for the 7th. Also, can i re-use the clutch cover gasket assuming i don't damage it in the take down? or is that a no-no?

barnett part numbers:
301-45-10008(x6)
301-45-10022(x1)

Mods to the bike that affect power/delivery would be an unmapped set of yosh cans, and a 15/41 gearing change on a 520 chain.

thanks for the help!

The clutch cover uses an 0-ring type seal.
Most of the time you can re-use it.
If it's hard and not as flexible due to heat, age, etc., just replace it.

For stock power output, the OEM plates are more than adequate.
If the Barnett plates are similar priced, go for it.
You could also get the Barnett springs as well, which have a bit more pressure.

Awesome, thanks SubSailor!

I figure if the clutch is going, and i have 16k on it, i might as well replace the o-ring regardless...it can't hurt.
