Varium did it with a VFR swingarm and rear wheel, but was tight lipped about how it was done.

I'm always right.

The hardest part I've noticed so far, is the exhaust pipe. The swingarm's pocket must have enough space for that pipe as well as the shock.
And of course then comes the shock's link mounting point to be in such a spot not to mess with the bikes geometry when you're done.

However, the only think I don't like on the VFR's setup is the 4 bolts wheel. Looks like a car's setup to me.......

Aside from fashion, it's pointless. Heavier swingarm is more unsprung weight. The single sided swing arm was originally conceived for speed of wheel changes in endurance racing (with magnesium swing arms for the better heeled teams), but who needs that on an RC51 - really?

Makis, I know it's silly - but I am thinking of using an NC30/35 hub (I haven't checked it'll fit yet) to put a single centre nut hub on my VFR750, so I can then get carbon Dymags for it.
I have no plans for under seat exhausts... Too much hassle & expense with no benefit, really.

You'd be surprised, but the VFR750 FL-FN's rear wheel is worth $300 used, because later VFR owners really like it's style. Even with 4 studs.

Euro RC51 SP2: HRC WSB Ti Hi-Level, T1 Airbox & Snorkel, PCIII, Dymag CA5 Carbon Wheels, Ti64 Spindles (F, R & Swing Arm), Mori Link, Maxton GP7 Shock & Ohlins 832 Forks, Brembo GP Calipers & SBK narrow track (F), Braketech Disc (R), Brembo billet Underslung x 2 Brembo RCS, Tyga Triple, 7075 Stem, Probolt Titanium all over, Babyface rearsets, MR Complete Carbon Lineup, Custom Undertail & CBR 1000 LED, Watsen LED Indicators, Harris Brace, Giles clip-ons, Corbin seat, etc. 2013 BOTY.

Interesting how in some pics it's got twin exhaust, and in others left-side only.

If / when I run out of other things to do, I may get to doing that mod on the VFR, but for now I'll keep mulling it over. Would be a tricked out example indeed, then. It's meant to be a sensible & cheap sports tourer...
