Has anyone seen a custom tail section on an RC?

Now that we have all these ridiculously light lithium-ion batteries- and I need to repaint my bodywork and tank anyway, I got to thinking about redoing the tail section on my 03 RC track/street bike. I am probably going to enclose the under side of the subframe with sheet metal and screw or rivet it into the subframe. Once that's nice and tidy I was wondering if there are any good looking tail sections out there that would look good and wouldn't take a ton to modify and make work. If anyone has pictures please post them! I'm also not opposed to changing the subframe.

wow jet, cool body! Looks like a cbr subframe/tail section.

About 6-8 months ago, a guy here parted out a race bike that had a modified CBR 1000 rear section...don't know if you want to do the weldeding to the cbr subframe to transplant it but it is nice and svelte looking....Hmmmm, gives me an idea for my totaled cbr now.

Has anyone seen a custom tail section on an RC?

Early this year Evad parted out his bike and it had a custom tail.

https://www.rc51forums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36977

And the tail in this link is from a CBR

Either way, you'll have to modify the subframe to make something work.

2001 SP1 (sold)
2004 SP2 (properly stored)
2012 Ruckus (stolen)
2015 Grom (under construction)

Weyrauch pronounced (Y Rock)...Rock for short.

THANK YOU!!!!! This is exactly what I was thinking of. Doing a tail like an RC211V/GP Racer. I still want to see other ideas. I was also thinking about an RS250/TZ250 tail but I might get stuck having to cut it half to widen it. And i just so happen to have an old gsxr1000 windscreen sitting on my shelf. AND I have a 2:1 system. This could get interesting.

I don't think the lines and angles on the CBR tail work. Looks like it was just kinda put on there cause it was what was sitting around. Maybe it looks better at other angles?

The second one tho in the part-out link with the cbr1000 subframe looks like it is at a more appropriate angle and looks pretty decent. Wish there were pictures of that from some more angles.
