Kinda need some help here. How hard would it be to install a slightly longer throttle cable set? I'd only need about 2-3 inches more in length. I put new clip ons on the bike and the controls sit a slight bit higher and put too much tension on the throttle cable when making a full turn of the handle bars.

Is this something that can be easily changed/modified? Any help at all would be super helpful

I'm trying to get some sort of weighting in my bars and be able to use a weighted bar end. These clips ons are 14mm inner dia tubes.

I sure wish people would think to update these kinds of threads. How did these cables work out? I have an RC51 and I need probably just an extra inch for my cables.

I'll follow up. I got 2005 CBR1000RR cables. They were a bit too long at 5" longer but I had no more time and used them. They'll be fine.
