Pair valve removal

Hi, as I have just done my valve clearances and my bike is in a good state to remove the pair valve system, is it really worthwhile doing and what are the advantages? do I need to remove the actual valves themselves from under the plates or can I just cut the hose and bung them close to the plates also I was just wondering after doing this mod will my mapping on my PC3 need adjusting?
Cheers

I never bothered, until I recently added a PCV with autotune (can't use it with a PAIR). I did a brief guide in my winter refresh thread.

For you no mapping changes are necessary imo.

Did you use the vacuum caps like Kwtoxman did in his thread? I really liked that: it's too easy and reversible if need be.

kind of, the same principle but not quite so easy on the eye. I used a 2 inch piece of hose with jubilee clips and bunged the end with a piece of ally cut of flush.
