powder coating question

in order to save money from buying all new stuff i got
a friend that can powder coat small stuff for me
so my plan is the levers, rear sets fairing stay and anything else i can think of small enough and
so on...
but i also want to do something about the pipes and rear pegs and mounts
whats the easiest way to get them off if it all?
and what are my options about my exhaust without buying new stuff?

Leave the rest alone. You can buy levers on live (eBay) for dirt. (I have about $60 in mine and they are great!)

You can have the exhaust pipe ceramic coated to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

im sure i can get some fairly cheap
but im trading some stuff to this guy in return for some powder coating
so as long as that coating isnt thick enough to stop parts from functioning
its free and easy for now anyways
im at almost 44k miles and ride a lot so i dont want to put much money into it unless its going to keep it running
how much does that ceramic cost roughly?

You will need to mask off the "joint" areas where the parts move (levers)

There are some classes of powercoat that do not like brake cleaners or fluids, be careful.

I do not know what the ceramic coating costs but there are a few folks on here that have done the exhaust pipes, they look nice and reduce heat a bit too.

My headers are off at a coater right now. My estimate was 125 for inside and out with clamps. They do black or metallic color. Don't powder coat any exhaust parts, it can't take that much heat.
