Re: rear sprocket hub

Hey guys, can I shorten the RC rear sprocket hub for a wheel swap to a project?

I am installing a RC wheel in a Rickman, and need the sprocket closer to the wheel by an inch

Are you sure offsetting the chain closer an inch will clear the tire?
I'm thinking with some mods you might be able to flip the sprocket and mounting studs and mount the sprocket on the side the studs mount against along with some washer type spacers to adjust the difference.
All that is without looking at one right now though ..

I am worried about using washers behind the sprocket, I am thinking power to the sprocket might break the mounting bolts, what other mods do you think I could do?
