Bestem Undertail Install

Hey all,

Any of you have a bestem undertail? If so can you please share your experience? I have looked at the hotbodies undertail install as that is the only one available. Inputs please and thanks you. I have a 2000 rc51.

Yes, the bike I have had one on it and it is/was shit....

The end.

Sorry but they are junk.

If I were you I'd have DHC fashion you a nice one out of carbon or glass.

Mine are being redesigned as a few people have reported they are not wide enough by 5-7mm.

Then again others have had no issues at all.

Which I will be talking to you about one day when I see you making a batch of them....Yes, most aftermarket undertails lack material around the edges, especially where the '51's tail moves towards the battery box.

Thanks for the input guys. I have the under tail with me now, so have to try and make it work if not i will have to hitup DHC when i am on the wet coast mid next year. Like STIG mentioned would be good to see some pics. when i searched the forum earlier Bestem was rated as good as Hotbodies according to some members. Anyways will do my own rightup once the install is underway.

Bestem & Hotbodies are all there were before DHC made another (better) option available.
Matt is a nut for quality stuff; we're lucky to have him make pretty much every carbon part available specifically for our RC51's, he doesn't specialise in any other model.

Picture of the previous version DHC undertail with a clear lens LED oem style light.
Amber LED signals are intergreated in the brake light.

It was modeled after an early Dassault undertail.
