Akrapovic race can length?

Is anyone with an Akrapovic race system able to measure the length of the silencers?

I have the carbon / ti slip ons and want to shorten them a bit, as they seem unusually long which has always bugged me! The ones on the race system look just right to me.

TIA
Stu

Thanks very much for that...seems that my slipons are identical then?
Maybe I should leave as they are...just seem to look unusually long compared to others I've seen?

They are long. The longest of any Akrapovic muffler I found on their site.

When I bought my Akrapovic full system back in '08, I wanted titanium for durability, but I could only get the mufflers in carbon as they were a closeout special.

As I figured, the sleeves started to develop cracks and began getting "soft" after around 1.5 years.
I ordered a muffler repair kit which had the sleeves, packing, rivets, and labels.
Not cheap ($500/pair).

Since I knew it would be a wash, rinse, repeat situation, and the rebuild kits are nowhere to be found, I changed the game and ordered a pair of LBP titanium large oval mufflers from SimonKobe with 60mm O.D. inlets and same spring attachment locations.
Not only are the LBP mufflers much more durable, but they are lighter than the carbon mufflers.

some food for thought is that there is 2 different lengths of carbon sleeve for the sp end cans ... i know this as i have just rebuilt a set i honestly don't remember what the sizes are .. sorry but there still available aakrapovic dealers should have the sizes to hand ? ..... naturally i decided to lose the (not for road use ) ..... i opted to add a stainless mesh around the central baffle tube also upgraded the packing .... a tad on the overkill side ... its now sporting some thuged out 1250c heat range ceramic fibers .... ya boy thats not for the general public ...akrapovic carbon fibre oval race cans look sick

Awesome thanks for the info.
Seeing yours in the box they look about 2" shorter (mine fill the space in the polystyrene).

The guy cutting them down builds custom ducati exhausts so has packing etc. Hopefully he can do the same and hopefully they'll be a bit deeper / louder
