Radial mounts/tokico calipers/brake line length

Got some radial mounts and tokico calipers off a CBR 1000 from my good bud da debil a few years back...never had a reason to mount them until now...bored waiting on parts so I cleaned them up and......brake lines are 3-4" too short.

QUESTION: What length lines are guys running with this mod? Off the CBR or just measured length and custom made?? Galfer???

NEED SOMETHING TO DO.

TKS!

Mount them and measure using pieces of electrical solder...

you answered your question in the original post really. measure the stock ones, add the difference you come up short, and order some lines.

spiegler has a line builder that will let you order custom ones very easily.

Yes but I was HOPING someone had preceded me and already had part #, model of bike to order by, length etc, so the work would already be done.

If not, then yes, I will use the speigler page...tks for the link!

There are variations with master cylinder, calipers etc too. Ie my radials have the banjo up top, others have it in the middle.

Go longer than shorter. Put your bike on the front stand and let the forks fully extend, then measure.

I also suggest looking at spieglers banjo options. You can get bent ones to get the fit just perfect. It makes a big difference.

already checked it out...I currently have the 2 lines of equal lenggth from the MC...stock is 1 spilt into 2...wondering what might be better? I hated the double lines at the MC due to leaks and getting them tight vs 1......

Yep the tokico's have the banjo on top as well....bike is on the ABBA stand so it is fully extended....I'd rather be fcking with colored bolts and shit....LOL.

I prefer the single from the master with a split at the lower triple.

The 51 has threaded holes in the lower clamp to make like securement extra easy as well

You could try the venhill build a line kit.
Its not to expensive & you can experiment making different lengths.
