Wanted - Rebuild parts for Carlos' project.

Thanks to some of you who have helped by offering your spare parts, we've been making good progress on the project for Carlos:

So I bought a project last night!

Most of the larger items needed have been sorted, or in the process of working out details. We're amazed at the willingness to help that's come from some of you. When your parts arrive, I'll be sure to post pictures and show our progress as it develops.

We were up till 5am yesterday buying parts such as mildly tweaked seat frame & headlight from Ebay UK. It's exciting to see the project move forward.

Here is the list of the primary remaining items we're still short of in case anybody has any of these, let me know. Paypal is ready.

(1). Top Fairing Cowl (Can be damaged or cracked, as long as it's repairable).
(2). Instrumentation Harness (Sub Harness Front).
(3). Gear shift Arm & rubber dust cover.
(4). Rear Tail cover assembly.
(5). Rear tail cover lock assembly.
(6). Headlight mount insert washers (x3), headlight bulb sockets (x2), sealing diaphragms (x2)

Other items like seat gasket, bolts, etc. we'll just buy new from Honda or Stainless fairing Probolt set. No point in trying to find the small stuff used.

Looking forward to getting all the parts now in transit to Japan and beginning to make this project take shape. Any help with the above much appreciated.

Thanks for the quick responses from nobody & Jondog9.

Looks as if we'll have the solo seat cowl assembly, lock & instrument harness sorted.

Still after these if anybody has them sitting around please:

(1). Top Fairing Cowl (Can be damaged or cracked, as long as it's repairable).
(2). Gear shift Arm & rubber dust cover.
(3). Headlight mount insert washers (x3), headlight bulb sockets (x2), sealing diaphragms (x2)

I'm just posting on the off-chance someone has got some of these. If not available used, then we'll order these along with other small parts from Honda next week.

Did you say seat gasket? I may have one of those. Still in the Honda wrapper.
It's numbers 7, 8, 9, 10.
Is that what you mean?

Thanks, if you have a picture that would be great. The repair would need to be invisible from the back though.

PM me if you'd like - picture would be useful please.

Hi buddy, no, it's no 14 on the schematic. It's listed there as a seal. (Shows $3.31).
Not sure if nobody included this with what he's sending.
Thanks for the pm.

Thanks for the pm.
I checked the parts fiche for the seal, if it is what I think it is it is a small strip of foam (looks like weather stripping) seated on the inner lip of the cowl cover.

It is attached to the cowl and like the two others I have to compare them too they are very thin and wear very quick.
So yes I guess I am sending it but for $3.31 I would replace it or spend a couple of minutes and cut out some self adhering weather stripping to fit because that's what it looks like to me.

This is what I think #14 is on the fiche...please correct me if I'm wrong.

Or do what I did and not even notice it...
