Anybody got a pair of SP1 original calipers kicking around please?

Tonight I've been buying up parts for an intended NSR250 project that I'll be receiving soon...

https://www.rc51forums.com/forums/sho...?t=8268&page=3

Apparently NC35 forks will fit, which means I can then run RC51 SP1 front calipers. Should be good braking on a 250 2-stroke weighing around 135kg.

So if anybody here has a set of SP1 calipers they don't mind parting with, please let me know.

Thanks Dan,
I'm not in any rush, as the (RVF400) u/d front forks are in the UK, waiting to be sent to Maxton so they can fit cartridges & make a new rear shock. That'll take at least 1-2 months, I expect so only after that will I need calipers. Must be from an SP1 to be a direct fit, apparently. PM to let me know what you want for them.

Cheers!

Any idea why SP2 calipers won't fit? Same mounting and offset, just different size pistons.

Was just going to say this... Both are the exact same with the exception of Sp1 calipers having larger diameter pistons.

Ah, I knew they weren't the same but didn't realise piston sizes were the only difference. Pistons larger on SP1's will give slightly more lever travel I guess, but there won't be a lot of difference I'd expect.

So I'd be up for a set of SP1 or SP2 calipers then...

I see them for sale here from time to time, but thought I'd ask on here first. Any SP2 calipers kicking around?
