I dont think you NEED the Ohlins or similar shock to use it, but thats what they were developed for. They'll bolt on to a stocker, I had one but with an Elka shock. The extra rear ride height made it turn quicker.

yea.. LDH's post explains it all.
I would buy it and save up for the ohlins shock to go with it, but who knows when ill ever come across the $$ to upgrade =P

Rear shock link: made by numerous places, just made with aluminum and bearings. Plenty of that around.

Yep, he sure does. Ben and Dan Kyle are the only ones that make them now. Moriwaki might still be, I'm not sure. There was also rumor that someone else was going ton start making them. Maybe it was sbk drew, or Glenn or the tyga guys? Can't remember?
