First video using Gopro

So I'm going to whore my video out a bit :-). I have been wanting a GoPro but have always waited for prices to drop. Well, motorcycle superstore is selling the black for 329 with a 16gb memory card so I pulled the trigger. Took some video yesterday and played around with the editing software. There is a lot to learn for sure. The camera is capable of a lot and I can't wait to use it this winter snow sledding and such.

I need to get more mounts to find where I like the camera positioned on the bike. Also learned I need to tilt the camera up a bit on my helmet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSUJ...e_gdata_player

So people who have them. Post whore your videos showing different mount locations.

We've played around with different mounting point for the camera on our standup jetskis.

Since you said go ahead and whore out what I got, here it is. Me in front. :^)

Actually, that's a great video, wind noise is tolerable, you can hear the bike well, and your opening her up.
So how you liking the LBP's now? Hmmmmm....???
They sound as good as can be!

It's all good brother! I put earplugs in and have no problems. Without earplugs I want to rip my hair out about 5 miles into the trip.

Love the video of the jetskis. Youtube just asked me if I wanted to stabilize the "shake" in my video so I selected yes. It's in the process now, anxious to see if it helps or makes things worse.

One thing I have noticed about this camera; it really seems to straighten out the corners. I'm guessing because it has such a wide camera angle but corners in the video appear much less aggressive then in person.

It's because it's on yer helmutt.
Put it on the bike somewhere and it gives you the sensation of the lean more.

I need a GoPro. Just yesterday my son was talking about having a remote controlled car with a camera on it and my first thought was to tape my cell phone onto his car.

Cool videos gents, keep whoring away
