2004 NHR Walk around video

So I took the old girl off the stands last night waiting for the new Proton turn signals to arrive and give me more room to polish up the R/H side of the bike, and repack the exhausts. So thought I shoot this video for posterity.

My biggest fear is that when I die
my wife sells my bike for what
I told her it cost.

Nice...I'm a little jealous, mine is still on stands no wheels or forks and waiting for parts to come back. The bike looks really good Stu.

I'm getting bored riding my superbike around the garage, my 2014 riding routine/time line is:

February: Bike on stands in garage, covered. Mid-February take off cover, start bike, warm up, turn off bike and re-cover.
March: Mid-March take bike off stands, take off cover, start bike, warm up, turn off bike, spend 1hr looking at bike, listening to wife asking why youíre looking at that dam bike again, and fit new parts, put bike back on stands, and re-cover.
March: End of March take bike off stands, take off cover, start bike, warm up, turn off bike, spend 1hr looking at bike, listening to wife asking why youíre looking at that dam bike again, polish bike and new parts and re-cover. Open garage door and asses the ice dam at the bottom of driveway and if with a bit of speed you can make it to the gravel covered road on the other side. Put bike back on stands, and re-cover.
April: Take bike off stands, take off cover, start bike, warm up, turn off bike, spend 1hr looking at bike, listening to wife asking why youíre looking at that dam bike again, polish bike and new parts and re-cover. Open garage door and asses the ice dam at the bottom of driveway and if with a bit of speed you can make it to the gravel covered road on the other side. Ride bike around local roads with cold tires, cold tarmac using only the back brake due to grave. Put bike back on stands, and re-cover.
May: Take bike off stands, take off cover, and start riding whilst dodging car and truck drivers as they donít see you due to them not being used to seeing bikes on the road!!!!
