Extrapolator rides the Dragon (video)

Some of you know I don't have an RC51 anymore, but I thought you might wanna see the Tail of the Dragon anyway.

Finally got the footage from last year's Auto Train trip from FL up to the Dragon, and edited it. My buddy following with the camera is on an FJR. He's a much better rider than me, smoother, more experienced ... and much more fearless As you can see I can only ever leave him briefly in straights.

Feel free to critique my riding - I need all the help I can get! Herky-jerky turns, braking too soon, too late and even in the turn, YIKES. Never taken a riding class - it's probably time.

Sorry you're having to stare at my top case (aka dingleberry) the whole time!

Here are the musical ABC's ... and D ... in the video:

April Wine - I Like to Rock
Boston - Party
Cars - Night Spots
Days of the New - LA Woman

You are not as smooth because you live in Floriduh where it is flat. Its the same here, it takes me a few time riding to get rid of my long winters hiatus cob webs.

Partly its because you are riding a big suit case too....

The first time on an unfamiliar road, absolutely no judgement on your line from me!
As long as you had a good time and everyone's safe, it's a great ride.

You go where you look
Turn in late
use all the road

the guy you are following seems to comfort brake alot, it is disconcerting for following riders to keep seeing a brake light coming on

I have never been there before...

+1 Just be safe and watch out for highway patrol, they can be a real buzz kill.

Bob tail, they are okay. Had that tractor had a trailer attached, it would have screwed the riding up for hours. The switch backs are much more severe than those experienced on Hwy 36.

3rd time there, technically, although the 1st time was 1994, wow, on a 1994 Yamaha FZR600, dark blue with purple and silver stripes, WOW. 2nd time was 2014, then this ride in 2015.

Yeah, I'm doin' all I can in the vid. Prob don't need to be pushin' it any harder than this - At age 47 recovery is gonna take looooonger.

You realize I'm the ZX rider? My friend with the cam is following me.

Anyway, I gotz to hit the brakes when I gotz to hit the brakez. If he had a problem with it, he didn't say anything, and we're on terms that he would if he did.
