Few Laps at Buttonwillow CCW

Kinda felt like old times - not a care in the world while I was out there on the track in 70° weather. I wish everyday was as good as this one was

Great video and ride. Good for you buddy. It's these moments that make life great and we think back to when laying awake at night.

LDH, I Googled RC51 track bikes and saw a pic of your old 51 with the C/F nose, gold pipes, and gold wheels. OMG... what a gorgeous bike!!! You sir have excellent taste in setting up motorcycle porn! Take my bike and take my money! Lemme know when she?s ready to pick up! Lol

That's good stuff LDH!

especially " I'm not as good as I once was.. but I'm as good once as I ever was "

that was a nice touch definitely some truth in those words ...

but you've got to share a track vid thrashing the Pig instead of the Kaw

I will do that, I promise! I'm having to repair the RC51 after an electrical failure when the rear tire ate through the wiring harness at Sears Point (fuck Sonoma Raceway) I'm an absolute idiot for not filming the TTX-GP Testing Day at Buttonwillow which was fuckin epic... The old girl was beating S1000RR's out of the turns only to be destroyed once they finally got on the throttle, but the David & Goliath story was definitely happening. Buttonwillow is a great track for the RC51 as you can carry the momentum over outright acceleration in most turns especially CCW.
